PLEASE NOTE: Postnet to Postnet is charged at R100.00 per 5 kg. For courier or any delivery outside of South Africa, select “Other” and we will contact you with a quote. Please note that all Postnet fee calculations above are based upon a parcel of a maximum of 5kg of either actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. Volumetric weight is calculated by multiplying the length, breadth and height (in centimetres) and dividing this by the applicable volumetric conversion factor which is 5000. Postnet fees are therefore subject to confirmation. Please advise under the “physical address” section, which Postnet the parcel should be delivered to.

 

  1. DELIVERIES

1.1

On line orders On line orders will be despatched within 24 hours of receipt of payment provided the payment is accepted by Hangar 64. If payments are subject to any clearing periods (see clause 3) then orders may be despatched at any later date that may be determined by Hangar 64. 1.2 Delays and cancellations Where delays and out of stock situations occur, every effort will be made to inform the buyer.

 

  1. PAYMENT METHODS

2.1 Credit card payments.

2.1.1 When an order is submitted to Hangar 64 we will check stock availability, pricing and shipping costs and communicate with the client. Once a final quote is accepted by the client an invoice will be e-mailed with an online credit card payment link.

2.1.2 Goods will be shipped only once payment has been made and cleared.

2.1.3 Note that to protect it’s own and the interest of customers, Hangar 64 scrutinises all transactions very carefully to prevent fraud and a transaction may be refused if Hangar 64 is not satisfied with it’s legitimacy.

2.1.4 Unpaid credit card orders may be cancelled after five business days.

2.2 Bank deposit payments.

2.2.1 If the buyer selects to pay via bank deposit, instructions will be given on how to deposit monies into Hangar 64 bank account and would be subject to the following conditions:

2.2.1.1 The exact amount must be paid.

2.1.2 The payment must be identified by supplying the order number and surname in the reference section of the deposit slip. Proof of deposit must be faxed to info@hangar64.com, with a name and contact number.

2.2.1.3 No transfers must be made from ATM’s

3.2.1.4 Cheque deposits are subject to a clearing period.

2.2.1.5 Unpaid bank deposit orders are cancelled after five business days.

2.3 Internet transfers.

2.3.1 If the buyer selects to pay via internet transfer into Hangar 64 account instructions will be given and this would be subject to the following conditions:

2.3.1.1 The exact amount must be paid.

2.3.1.2 The payment must be identified by supplying the order number and surname, proof of deposit must be faxed to info@hangar64.com, with name and contact number.

2.3.1.3 Internet transfers may be subject to a clearing period due to time delays between different banks.

  1. AGREEMENTS OF SALE

3.1 Placing an item in a shopping basket or adding it to a wishlist without completing the purchase cycle does not:

3.1.1 constitute an agreement of sale between Hangar 64 and a user and users cannot hold Hangar 64 liable if such items are not available when the purchase cycle is completed later;

3.1.2 constitute an order for such an item; and

3.1.3 Hangar 64 may remove such an item from the shopping basket if no stock is available. Hangar 64 may contact the buyer to offer a substitute product acceptable to the buyer.

3.2 An agreement of sale between Hangar 64 and a user only comes into effect if and when:

3.2.1 A credit card authorisation is received from the issuing bank; or

3.2.2 A deposit of an electronic transfer is reflected on Hangar 64 bank statement (and only if such payment is received within 5 (five) business days after completion of the purchase cycle); or

3.2.3 A direct deposit is reflected on Hangar 64 bank statement (subject to payment conditions stipulated in clause 3)( and only if such payment is received within 5 (five) business days after completion of the purchase cycle.

3.3 Hangar 64 reserves the right to refuse an order without giving any reason. Hangar 64 also reserves the right to cancel orders in whole or in part as circumstances dictate. Hangar 64 shall only be liable to refund monies already paid by the user in such case.

3.4 Hangar 64 shall take all reasonable efforts to maintain correct prices. However, should errors occur and items are offered at incorrect prices, Hangar 64 will not be obliged to sell goods at such incorrect prices and shall only be liable to refund monies paid.

3.5 Items may not be returned to Hangar 64 for a refund. Goods will be repaired or replaced (subject to suppliers approval) under warranties that may apply to such items. Hangar 64 will not be hold responsible for goods that are damaged in transit and it is up to the buyer to insure goods.

3.6 It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that any computer software ordered is compatible with the buyers computer hardware/operating systems.

3.7 Hangar 64 may agree that a product be returned for a credit but this is entirely at Hangar 64 discretion and excludes all videos, DVDs and computer software.

  1. SECURITY

4.1 Any person that delivers or attempts to deliver any damaging code to this web site or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any page on this web site shall be prosecuted and civil damage shall be claimed in the event that Hangar 64 suffers any damage or loss.

4.2 The user allows Hangar 64 to take all reasonable steps to ensure the integrity and security of the Hangar 64 site and back-office applications.

4.3 All credit card details must be submitted via fax and not via the website.

  1. SPECIAL OFFERS

5.1 Hangar 64 shall not be liable for the sale of items at lower prices if such prices were increased and users and/or purchasers could not, for any reason whatsoever, conclude an agreement of sale while such prices remained low.

5.2 If Hangar 64 supplies the wrong product they will exchange it for the correct one or refund monies if the correct product is not available.

  1. STOCK AVAILABILITY

6.1 Stock of all goods on offer are limited. Hangar 64 shall take all reasonable efforts to discontinue the offer as soon as stock is no longer available. However, should items still be offered after stock is sold, Hangar 64 shall only be liable to refund monies where it is unable to fulfill orders at advertised prices.

  1. VALUE ADDED TAX

7.1 Value added tax at the rate of 15% is charged on all goods.
